I've been taking it for a few days, 150 has throbbing in my head, pinching, the concentration of lamotrigine is 2.8.I have relapses as if consciousness was going to turn off, I don't feel like myself, the doctor told me to wait a week, does it mean zw lamilept doesn't work??

No, that doesn't mean that Lamilept (Lamotrigine) doesn't work. The body can still adapt to the higher dose, and the level of lamotrigine in the blood (2.8) is quite low. The symptoms may be the result of this adaptation. The body usually adapts to lamotrigine within 1-2 weeks after changing the dose, but it can take up to 4-6 weeks for the body to fully stabilize. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is worth consulting a doctor beforehand.

Lamotrigine works, but if you continue to relapse, your dose may need to be adjusted or your treatment may need to be modified. It is worth consulting a doctor to assess the effectiveness of the therapy and possibly make changes. Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine yourself.

Yes, this is a normal phenomenon. Symptoms such as throbbing in the head, pinching and dizziness are common side effects of Lamilept, especially in the initial phase of treatment or after increasing the dose.

If your doctor has told you to wait a week to evaluate your symptoms, please hold off before making any further decisions about your treatment.

Is it normal that even though I felt quite comfortable today, now I feel symptoms in the form of dizziness?

Jbbb (Anonymous, 78.30.102.) 15 months ago

Recurrent symptoms should pass over time. I'm worried about the low concentration. A moment is good, then there are relapses

If the concentration of 2.8 is low, but nevertheless has some effect at the moment?

Very uncomfortable feeling in the head, as if something heavy was sitting and shaking hands, is the effect so modified, I will add that the doctor told me to go from day to day that 100 mg to 50mg I took it like this for 2 weeks, the symptoms came back and gradually I had to get to 150mg, and I take 150 mg for a few days and I feel tingling in the head. The drug should work again ?I took it for 2 years and it was fine before.

I understand, the doctor also says that you have to wait... symptoms, sometimes a reflex, a head, a feeling of heaviness, as if something was in your head... Or could it be the result that this medication was discontinued much earlier on a low dose overnight..? And should it stabilize?
