Good day
I also have a question regarding the possible long-term effect of Duphaston. I took Duphaston 2x/day from 23.11.2024-03.12.2024 and on 09.12.2024 the period started for 5 days. The next period, which was supposed to start a week ago, has still not begun. Is it possible for Duphastone to work retrospectively even after such a long time? Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for the answer. Duphaston was prescribed to me because of a cyst, I had always had regular menstruations until then.

I do not know for what indication you were taking the drug, I guess from the description that your doctor recommended you to use Duphaston to induce menstruation. Usually, in order to regulate the cycles, it is necessary to use this drug for a longer time. Each body reacts differently to treatment. Stopping its use too early increases the likelihood that irregular menstrual cycles will return and it is difficult to determine when your next menstrual period will occur, especially if you have only a short description. I recommend that you consult a doctor who has full information about your health, test results and medications used. He or she will suggest appropriate therapeutic treatment for you. If necessary, you can use a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek portal, it takes place in Polish:

Here you can check the availability of the drug in Polish pharmacies and make a reservation:
