Flucofast (fluconazole) is usually well tolerated, however, like any medication, it can cause side effects, including symptoms that may be related to chest discomfort.

Flucofast may cause QT prolongation, which may lead to heart rhythm problems. Then symptoms such as chest discomfort, dizziness and even fainting may occur.

Chest discomfort can also be confused with the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, which may get worse in some people who use Flucofast (especially for a long time):

In the case of chest discomfort, it is worth consulting a doctor, especially if it is severe, persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath or radiating pain.
