Can I reduce the dosage of Sulfasalazine myself?

Reducing the dosage on your own may intensify the symptoms of the underlying disease - it may be necessary to introduce other medications and/or discontinue the preparation used so far (and replace it with another one) if the side effects prevent normal functioning. It is also worth doing control blood tests. I encourage you to discuss the problem with the doctor in charge of the treatment.
