Can I take 2 tablets of Eliquis 2.5 mg twice a day if I normally use 5 mg 2 times a day?

Good day
I'm on vacation right now and don't have enough Eliquis 5mg with me. Now I could buy Eliquis 2.5mg in the pharmacy. Can I now take two 2.5mg tablets instead of one 5mg tablet? I usually take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening. Then I would have to take 2 tablets 2.5mg in the morning and 2 in the evening. Is that possible? Thank you very much for your help.

Take the number of tablets equivalent to your dose of Eliquis (i.e. a total of 5 mg). Do not reduce the dose without consulting your doctor. In this situation, you should take 2 tablets of 2.5 mg in the morning and 2 tablets of 2.5 mg in the evening.
