The ENT doctor prescribed me Metmin because I still have a stuffy nose and runny nose. After the first dose, the nose remained congested. My question is, is there a chance that the preparation will help?

Metmin is a preparation intended for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial rhinitis or in the treatment of nasal polyps. The active substance of the preparation is mometasone furoate, a glucocorticoid with a local anti-inflammatory effect.
The anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects of the preparation may not be felt immediately after the first dose. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, "in some patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis, the onset of clinically meaningful effects of Metmin nasal spray occurred within 12 hours after the first dose; however, the full effect of the medicinal product may not be achieved within the first 48 hours after administration."
Please remember that the condition for effective treatment is regular use of the medicinal product, in the manner recommended by the doctor.
