Do brown spotting instead of menstruation after discontinuation Primolut-Nor Is this a cause for concern?
Primolut nor used 3 months for a cyst of 16-25 dc and I have my first cycle after treatment without drug and it is 30 dc and I have symptoms like sore breasts but instead of a period there is brown spotting 2 days, is this a normal reaction? After treatment or a cause for concern? I have irregular cycles of 30-60 days.

Menstrual disorders such as brown spotting instead of menstrual bleeding are possible after discontinuation of Primolut-Nor. The use of hormonal medications can limit the growth of the endometrium, so bleeding may be less heavy (although not always) during and after stopping medication. Lower intensity and volume of bleeding causes the blood to stay in the genital tract longer, become oxidized to a greater extent and may have a darker color.
If the spotting persists, it is worth consulting your gynecologist.
