Hello, I have a question. If we dig into our ear with our little finger, is there a possibility that we will damage something with our finger, or is it not possible for it to go so deep, for example, into the eardrum? Because I know that you can damage yourself with a stick, but it will probably go deeper than a finger ? Thank you zanreply

To @Tinn:
If you suspect a puncture/perforation of the eardrum in a child, you should urgently consult a doctor.
You can also take advantage of a paid teleconsultation in Polish arranged e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
My daughter has today done exactly this, perforated/ruptured her ear drum by sticking her little finger too far into her ear and created a suction almost when pulling her finger out.

It is very unlikely that you will damage your eardrum with your finger. It is true, however, that reaching too deep into the ear with a cotton bud can lead to damage to the eardrum.
