I understand the desire to reduce the cost of treatment, but I must emphasize that it is not recommended to change the dosage schedule of Mounjaro (tirzepatide) without consulting a doctor.
The standard dosing is once a week (every 7 days), and extending the interval between doses to 10 days may reduce the effectiveness of the drug and increase the risk of fluctuations in blood glucose levels. Please consult with your treating doctor to discuss safe options to reduce the cost of treatment. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
