When using medications on the skin, it is important to use them according to your doctor's instructions and the instructions in the leaflet to ensure that both preparations are as effective as possible.
Elidel is an anti-inflammatory cream used to treat atopic dermatitis, while Duosone is a gel used to treat psoriasis, especially on the scalp.
If you are going to use both medications on the same area of the skin, it is recommended that you first apply a gel (Duosone) and once it is absorbed, a cream (Elidel). The reason is that gels are usually absorbed faster than creams, which allows for better absorption of the active substances from both preparations. After applying the gel, wait about 15 minutes for it to absorb and then apply the cream.
