Tadalafil and other potency drugs belonging to the phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor group may cause visual impairment, including sudden loss of vision, distorted, dim, blurred central vision, or sudden decrease in vision. If this side effect occurs, stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention immediately.
A study conducted among men using drugs belonging to the group of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors showed that these drugs may increase the risk of serous retinal detachment, retinal vascular occlusion and ischemic optic neuropathy.
