Can you use Versatis for pain after heel surgery?

Can it also be indicated to relieve pain after heel surgery?

Versatis is used for the symptomatic treatment of neuropathic pain associated with herpes zoster infection (postherpetic neuralgia) in adults.

The patches contain lidocaine, which penetrates continuously through the skin, producing a local analgesic effect.

The patch must not be applied to inflamed skin or damaged skin. This excludes the application of a patch to the site after surgery. It should be borne in mind that the analgesic effect is only local, so it will not make sense to apply it elsewhere.

Off-label use of the drug is only possible if the doctor sees such a need and it is justified.

For the treatment of postoperative pain, there are many medications available that have been proven to work. After taking your medical history, your doctor will be able to adjust the form and dosage of the drug.

In order to determine a safe analgesic therapy, I recommend a visit to the attending physician. Prescription drugs should not be used without medical consultation, due to the danger of contraindications and many interactions with other drugs.

I am attaching information about the possibility of using teleconsultations:
