Good morning. I'm taking Euthyrox and I've started supplementing with Thyroset. After 2 days of taking the supplement, I started to feel dizzy, which disappeared after a week of withdrawal. On the second attempt after about a month's break, the situation was repeated. I took the supplement as instructed. I didn't do any blood tests for vitamin content before starting the supplement. What could be going on?

Dizziness after starting Thyroset supplementation can be caused by a variety of factors, including interactions with other medications, intolerance to the supplement's ingredients, or even an allergic reaction. It's worth noting that Euthyrox is a medication used to treat hypothyroidism, so there may be some risk of interactions between it and the new supplement.
Euthyrox contains synthetic levothyroxine, which is the primary medication used to treat hypothyroidism. Some medications and supplements, such as Thyroset, may reduce the absorption of levothyroxine and affect its effectiveness.
If you have not had blood tests before starting Thyroset supplementation, then it is not known if your body needed the additional ingredients contained in this supplement.
Therefore, the addition of Thyroset may have upset the hormonal balance and caused temporary symptoms. I recommend that you consult your doctor, who will assess your test results and adjust your treatment.
