How to use Duphaston in the absence of period and ovulation?
9.99 zł

Good morning. I got a prescription from my gynecologist for Siofor 500 2x1 and duphaston 2x1 due to lack of period and lack of ovulation. I have to take Duphaston for 10 days after 7 days I have to have my period, then I have to wait no more than 45 to 50 days and take this drug 😏 again, I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. My husband and I are trying to have a baby, I have never taken this drug.

If you are amenorrhea, it is usually recommended to take Duphaston at a dose of 10 or 20 mg for 14 days, but your gynaecologist may have recommended a different use based on your previous cycles.

To further regulate the cycle, it is recommended to use 10 or 20 mg per day, starting from the second half of the menstrual cycle until the first day of the next cycle. The day you start taking the medicine and the number of days you will be given depend on the length of your menstrual cycle.

If in doubt, please contact the doctor who prescribed the medicine.

Siofor 500 should be taken daily.
