Swelling is one of the side effects of Evra patches.
Please note where the swelling occurs, whether it is swelling under the plaster or swelling of the leg.
If you have experienced swelling in your leg, consult your doctor urgently. This swelling can be a symptom of thrombosis. If this is the case, your doctor will decide whether to continue using the patches. Other symptoms of thrombosis include pain in the lower limb, severe chest pain, sudden cough, severe headache, blurred vision, slurred speech, dizziness, seizures, weakness and impaired sensation on one side of the body, difficulty walking or holding objects, and severe stomach pain.
