Hello, can eliqius cause feelings of anxiety and make the heart beat faster?
Please give me a quick answer because I don't know if it's from this or something else that starts to fall apart again. Best regards.

I will take Eliquis 2 x 5 mg from mid-December 2025 and at the end of December my pulse has risen from about 72/min (sometimes even less) to 80 - 82 at rest, even at night with bed rest, i.e. by about 600 rpm and 14400 in 24 hours! I am worried.

Yes, after about 5 years I get palpitations, nervousness, restlessness when taking Eliquis. Even if the dose is reduced, this no longer helps. Must urgently look for an alternative.
That's right, this drug and terrible, it puts your morale in zero anxiety.

Yes, Eliquis can cause low blood pressure, which can lead to a rapid heartbeat. This side effect has been reported uncommonly, i.e. may affect more than 1 in 100 people but may affect more than 1 in 1000. I don't find any information that anxiety has been reported while using Eliquis, but this does not mean that such a symptom cannot occur.
Side effects are worth reporting, we wrote more about them here:
