Xaloptic eye drops are used to lower intraocular pressure. Another use of the drug is the so-called off-label use, i.e. outside the registered indications. In this case, your doctor should tell you about any side effects not listed in this leaflet. The side effects indicated by the manufacturer apply to the use of the drug in the eyes. After ocular administration, palpitations and chest pain have been observed, m.in. The extent to which the medicine is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream is not reported.
