Can I combine Glucophage and Biofenac?

Combining these drugs is not advisable.
Their simultaneous intake causes an increased risk of lactic acidosis, especially in the case of kidney and liver failure, dehydration or alcohol abuse.
Lactic acidosis does not have typical symptoms. Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. On the part of the respiratory system, the so-called Kussmaul breath may appear, i.e. very deep breathing with an increased frequency. The patient may complain of muscle aches and dizziness.
If medications have been prescribed by different doctors, a consultation is necessary to determine if the benefits of taking them outweigh the risk of interactions.
