Good morning.
I have quite an interesting question.
I have SIBO and IMO.
I'm taking SlowMag, which, as we know, is absorbed in the intestine.
My question - does that make sense? If I have an overgrowth of bacteria in my intestine, should I take medication that is absorbed from the intestine?

In people with SIBO and IMO, the absorption of drugs and other nutrients may be impaired. However, this does not mean that the magnesium you take will not be absorbed at all. You may need to use higher doses than those recommended by the manufacturer.
First of all, it is worth checking the level of magnesium to see how deep the deficiency of this element is.
