Does the contraceptive implant not work if I have bleeding once and have heartburn and nausea?

I have a contraceptive implant, I recently had my period 1 day, I have never had it before.
And when I get up, I'm tired of nausea and heartburn I have the implant replaced in August, does it work, could something have changed or can it be replaced earlier?

A single bleed should not be alarming. The implant retains its effectiveness for up to 5 years.
If bleeding occurs more often, then it is worth consulting a gynecologist.

Nausea and heartburn must not be a symptom of indigestion or a developing gastrointestinal disease. More here:
