Today I received information from Boehringer Ingelheim Sp. z o.o. that the company does not plan to introduce Jentadueo to the Polish market.
The drug has been authorised under the centralised procedure, i.e. it can be sold automatically in all EU countries. However, this does not mean that it will be available in all countries.

The drug is not available in Poland.

At the moment, the only available drug with linagliptin is Trajenta, but the dose is higher than in Jentadueto. You can check the availability of the medicine and find more information here:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/79635/trajenta-tabletki-powlekane/apteki

Tomorrow I will contact the manufacturer of Jentadueto and ask if and when deliveries of this drug to Polish are planned.

Jentadueto contains a combination of linagliptin and metformin. It may be worth consulting a diabetologist and considering taking these two substances separately, e.g. Trajenta plus metformin, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/substancje/metformina

As soon as I get any information from the manufacturer, it will be posted below this post and here:

If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
