Good morning. I have been treated for type 2 diabetes for less than 2 years. From time to time, the diabetologist orders tests m.in glycated hemoglobin level, urine tests, creatinine, etc. Recent results are: Ketones in urine: none, glucose: 7828mg/dL, protein: none. The doctor said that I could have glucose in my urine but it was never that high, the highest I had was 500-600 but it was never that high. Is there anything to worry about? I'm currently taking Xigduo and diaprel.

High levels of glucose in the urine, such as those reported in the question (7828 mg/dL), are significantly elevated and indicate inadequate control of diabetes. Diabetes, especially when poorly controlled, can lead to these situations. It is important to consult with your diabetologist or the doctor who oversees your treatment to discuss these results and adjust your treatment plan for better control of your glucose levels.
For people with type 2 diabetes, proper management of glucose levels is crucial to avoid complications. Medications such as Xigduo and Diaprel are used to treat diabetes, but their dosage and effectiveness should be monitored regularly by a doctor.
It's also worth paying attention to your diet, physical activity, and other factors that can affect your glucose levels. Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels, as well as regular check-ups with a diabetologist, will allow you to manage your diabetes effectively. If you have questions or concerns about your health, it's always a good idea to talk to your doctor. If it is not possible to visit the site, I encourage you to take advantage of the teleconsultation:
