Hello
She uses an adadring contraceptive ring. I've read that the disc should be in contact with the mucous membrane, but I'm not sure if this is the case and I'm worried if it's properly inserted, I will add that I don't feel any discomfort, the disc doesn't fall out of my vagina, but it slides lower than at the beginning when I apply it, I get my period properly. Do I have a reason to worry if the disc is applied correctly?

The inside of the vagina is completely lined with a mucous membrane. The ring should be entirely in the vagina, but the exact location of the system in the vagina is irrelevant to its contraceptive effect. Adaring should not pinch, interfere, protrude or fall out of the vagina. Pictorial instructions on how to apply the disc are available in the package leaflet. From your post it does not appear that there are any reasons to assume that the disc is incorrectly applied.
