For 6 days he has been taking Probella prescribed by his gynecologist for an endometrial cyst of about 3 cm. I've been prickling my stomach on the right side for two days now, and I'm bleeding all the time. Is this normal or should you report it to your gynecologist?

This is a typical side effect of the drug, especially at the beginning of therapy.
Nevertheless, if the bleeding and pain get worse, you should consult your doctor.
According to the drug's manufacturer:
"If the bleeding is heavy and persists for a long time, it can lead to a drop in the number of red blood cells (anaemia), which can be severe in some cases. If you have anaemia, talk to your doctor if you need to stop taking Probella."
