Can Convulex and Neurotop be combined?

I suffer from epilepsy and I take convulex 500 mg and neurotope 600 mg, can I combine these two medicines together?

Convulex and Neurotop are prescription medicines and can be combined if they have been prescribed by a doctor who has been informed of all the preparations you are taking.
Convulex and Neurotop are medications that are used together to treat epilepsy. Valproic acid (Convulex) may potentiate the toxic effects of carbamazepine (Neurotop). Clinical observation of the patient is recommended, especially at the start of concomitant therapy, and dose adjustment is recommended if necessary. If you notice symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, ataxia, double vision), report it to your doctor.
