What happens if I give a 3-year-old child a double dose of Dexafree drops?

Hello! The child is almost three years old. We treat the chalazion. The doctor prescribed Dexafri. According to the scheme 7 days 3 times a day, 7 days 2 times a day, 7 days 1 time a day, a drop in the eye. What happens if I instilled not one, but two drops? Won't it hurt your eyesight?

The dosage method and the appropriateness of using this medicine in a child should be consulted again with a doctor.

Dexafree is for use in adults. According to the manufacturer: "The safety and efficacy of the medicinal product in children have not been established."

You may want to consult another doctor to make sure it is safe for your 3-year-old to use this medication.

The drug contains a steroid with a strong effect, so it is all the more important to be careful.
