Yes. For children over 1 year of age, the recommended dose is 50 mg/kg body weight per day (0.5 ml syrup per 1 kg body weight per day) in 3 or 4 equal divided doses administered throughout the day. There are no contraindications to give the syrup to the child in the evening.
