Is it normal to feel numbness in the throat and tongue after putting a drop in the eye? Fortunately, after some time it subsided, but I don't know whether to use the drops a second time.

One of the side effects observed with Mybracin drops is the running of mucus down the back of the throat, which may potentially be associated with numbness in the throat and tongue.
Adhering to the correct rules for the application of the drops helps to minimize such side effects. It is recommended to tilt the lower eyelid and apply the product to the resulting space ("pocket" - the conjunctival sac), and not to the surface of the eyeball. After the instillation, it is recommended to gently close the eyelid and press the inner corner of the eye (right next to the nose) with your finger. This may reduce the systemic absorption of the drug and help to reduce its overall side effects.
