Can I take Emanera 40 mg if I am pregnant?

Good morning! Can I take Emanera 40 mg if I am pregnant? I had fertile days and there could have been a conception. I'm very worried because I'm currently taking this medication for gastritis. Please reply.

Unfortunately, the number of studies on the safety of Emanera in pregnancy is moderate, but the manufacturer of the drug informs that it can be concluded that it does not cause harmful effects on the development of the foetus or harm the foetus.

Of course, all decisions about taking the drug should be made by your doctor.

I therefore suggest that you first make sure that fertilisation has actually taken place. Once you have the test result, you will be able to take further steps, i.e. contact your doctor and make sure that your treatment with Emanera can be continued.
