Can the amount of belly fat impair the absorption of Divigel?

I use divigel on the lower abdomen, can the amount of fat (I'm slightly overweight, this is also indicated by BMI) on the abdomen worsen the absorption of the drug?

The Summary of Product Characteristics does not provide information on the effect of excess weight and abdominal fat on the absorption of Divigel. Being overweight can be a predisposing factor for some side effects, which of course does not mean that every person will experience them.
