Good morning, on November 7th the doctor prescribed hitaxa in syrup and still for my 4-year-old son. He has had chronic sinus fever since September. At night, he wheezes terribly and vomits phlegm after coughing. Unfortunately, I don't see any improvement. Next visit 19.12. I'm terrified, has anyone had a similar problem?

We are after another visit, again hitaxa 🤦 My son is still vomiting, twice with ear infections, 3 times with antibiotics. The laryngologist still insists on hitaxa, even though there is no effect. I already have an appointment with another ENT specialist. Unfortunately, it was only in May 😞

Hitaxa is an anti-allergic drug. The active ingredient is desloratadine, which inhibits the activation of histamine, which is responsible for allergy symptoms such as urticaria, itching, runny nose, redness of the skin or eyes, tearing. The indication for the use of the drug is to alleviate the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and allergic urticaria.
If the medication does not help, it is worth contacting a doctor.
