Montelukast (the active substance in Promonta) is an anti-inflammatory medicine mainly used to treat asthma and allergies. The dosage of montelukast usually depends on the specific needs of the patient, the diagnosis and the doctor's recommendations. According to the SmPC, the product in adults is usually used once a day, but if your doctor has advised otherwise, please follow his or her guidelines.
