Can I ask my doctor for a different treatment for osteoporosis?

After I was diagnosed with postmenopausal osteoporosis T score -3.5, I was prescribed osicca, an oral drug. I've been suffering from chronic gastritis for years, I also have problems with my gums and bleeding from them. I wanted to ask if I could ask my doctor to prescribe me the subcutaneous drug Denusab. I'd appreciate your answer

Based on the medical history and test results, the doctor decides what treatment will be most appropriate in a given case. You can always ask your doctor if other treatment options are possible.
