Is it OK to use 2 antibiotics in quick succession?

Son 17 years old, has been prescribed for strep throat, but 3 days before he took azimycin for acne, isn't it too early to take klacid?

Azithromycin (Azimycin) and clarithromycin (Klacid) have not been shown to have interactions that could adversely affect the efficacy and safety of either medicine. If your doctor recommending clarithromycin was aware that you have recently completed treatment with azithromycin, you should follow his or her instructions.

Below is a link that allows you to track availability and make an on-line reservation with pick-up at a selected pharmacy of the Klacid medicinal product:

If 2 antibiotics are administered in a short period of time, care should be taken to restore the balance of the intestinal microflora by including products containing probiotic bacteria (e.g. cabbage and pickled cucumbers, kefir, yogurt) and using probiotics, e.g.:

Using the links below, you can book the drug at a pharmacy of your choice or make an online purchase with home delivery.

We write about whether it is worth using probiotics in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/probiotyki-czy-warto-stosowac-leki-oslonowe
