Good morning, I have been prescribed Amotaks Dis 1g, dosage: 2 tabl 2x1. Did I understand correctly that one dose consists of 2 tablets and I have to take two tablets every 12 hours?

Yes, according to the dosage shown you should take 2 tablets every 12 hours.
This is a typical way of dosing this medicine in adults, e.g. in respiratory infections.
As stated in the Summary of Product Characteristics "Respiratory tract infections: 1.5 to 2 g twice daily or 1 g three times daily."
Amotaks Dis can be taken before, during, or after a meal. The tablets can be swallowed whole or crushed with a glass of water, sucked or drunk after the suspension has been reconstituted.
Preparation of the suspension: Put the appropriate number of tablets into a glass with a small amount of boiled, cool water, mix and drink.
