Can I split the Neoparin Forte prefilled syringe into two doses?

I have been prescribed and purchased Neoparin forte 12,000 IU 0.8 ml, if I inject at half of this dose, will it mean that I will take a dose of 6000 IU at 0.6 ml? The dosage method recommended 1 time per day and after dividing would be 2 times a day. Thank you for your reply.

Do not proceed in this way. Neoparin Forte is a disposable syringe only. The medicine must not be divided.

When using multidose ampoules or vials, it is recommended to use a tuberculin syringe or equivalent to ensure that the correct volume is withdrawn.

Contact your doctor, you may be given a prescription for a lower dose.
