Ozempic is not expected to cause any harm once it enters the mouth. However, this form of taking the drug has never been studied. In case of alarming symptoms, consult a doctor.

Ozempic should be injected subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. The injection site can be changed without adjusting the dose. Ozempic should not be administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
