The manufacturer of Proursan tablets indicates that they should not be chewed/crushed, so I would consult the possibility of administering the drug through a gastric tube with the attending physician. Taking into account the risks and potential benefits of treatment in a given case, the doctor will decide whether to implement the drug or suggest another, more appropriate drug.
