Symonette tablets also work for women who are not breastfeeding. This is not a prerequisite for the use of this medicine. It is just that the use of single-component hormonal contraception (without oestrogen) is preferred in nursing patients. However, women who are not breastfeeding but cannot use the combined pills for other reasons can also benefit from the drug's action.
