Do Xifaxan and Metoclopramide weaken the effects of Yasminelle?

Good morning, from 8 we take Yasminelle tablets. I took Xifaxan (3tabketki 1.5days) and Metocopramide for 4 days after 1 tablet, three days after finishing there was intercourse without ejaculation, but the intercourse was. Was the protection still preserved?

There is no risk of interactions between Xifaxan, Metoclopramide and Yasminelle, although it should be noted that some antibiotics (and Xifaxan belongs to this group of medicines) may interfere with the absorption of the contraceptive pill. On the basis of the description, it is difficult to assess the real risk of pregnancy; seems to be rather small. In order to avoid the risk of unwanted pregnancy, I suggest using additional protection until the end of the cycle (just in case).

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
