Can I take Asentre and Verospirone?
Can I take Asentra (Sertraline) together with Verospirone (Spironolactone) 50 mg for depression? The doctor did not say anything about it, but I am concerned about possible electrolyte disturbances referred to in the case of both of the above-mentioned drugs.

Yes, you can take Asentre with Verospirone if your medication has been prescribed by a doctor who has been informed of all the preparations you are taking. Both spironolactone and sertraline can cause a decrease in sodium, so it is worth regularly monitoring the level of electrolytes in the blood during treatment. Elderly people are usually exposed to a decrease in sodium levels when using Asentry. Low sodium levels are manifested, m.in by headache, difficulty concentrating, memory impairment, confusion, weakness and balance disorders, if these symptoms are observed, they should be reported to the doctor.
