Is it possible to drink alcohol after 4 days after the end of treatment with Amitriptyline?
Hello. I took 2 weeks of amitriptiline for headaches. It's already ok. On Wednesday I took the last time, and on Saturday I have a wedding party. Can I drink some alcohol in this situation? Are 4 days after weaning enough? I don't want to hurt myself.

Amitriptyline may remain in the blood for up to about a week after the end of therapy. An interval of 4 days may not be sufficient. Alcohol consumption then increases the risk of headaches recurring.
