This cannot be completely ruled out. Patients with other risk factors such as older age, diabetes, hypertension or a history of hearing loss are more likely to experience these side effects.
If after a year of using the 5 mg dose there are no such side effects, can you expect that they will not occur?

Cases of sudden hearing loss and visual disturbances have been reported with tadalafil, but these are not common side effects. However, if you notice a sudden decrease in hearing or vision while taking this medicine, you should seek medical advice immediately.
