Good day. Is there any problem with Tirosint Sol 75? In the pharmacy I got information that it is not in the warehouses and is unavailable. Is it possible to replace this drug with e.g. letrox or eutyrox for the annual prescription for Tirosint Sol 75, or is a new prescription necessary? Thank you in advance for the odp.

After publishing this reply, we were contacted by the Manager of IBSA - the company producing Tirosint Sol.
I send you up-to-date product information:
Production of the drug has resumed and due to the deep deficit associated with previous withdrawals, some doses of the drug may still be missing in pharmacies.
Here you can check the availability of the drug in pharmacies and make a reservation:

The withdrawals were of a preventive nature, at the request of the manufacturer. They were associated with a change in the excipient contained in the drug. Currently, the problem has been resolved.

You can read about why Tirosint Sol is missing here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/108396/dzien-dobry-z-czym-jest-zwiazana-mala-dostepnosc-tirosint-sol-5 Unfortunately, due to the different form of the drug, the pharmacist will not be able to replace Tirosint Sol with Euthyrox or Letrox. A new prescription will be required. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleadvice here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-endokrynologiem
