Have I stopped taking Sulpiride too quickly if I have nausea, anorexia, nausea and am unable to function normally?

Hello. I discontinued sulpiride Teva . I took one tablet in the morning 50 mg. First, I took two weeks every other day. Then one week every 3 days and I stopped taking the drug. After about 5 days there was terrible nausea, anorexia, nausea. I am not able to function normally. Did I stop taking the medicine too quickly? Please advise.

The symptoms you have become insane, such as nausea, anorexia and nausea, may be the result of stopping Sulpiride and your body's reaction to this change. Although you reduced the dose gradually, the withdrawal regimen may not have been used as directed by your doctor. Dose reduction and gradual discontinuation of the drug is a process that should be controlled by a doctor to minimize the risk of developing such symptoms. If the ailments persist, I suggest consulting a doctor, preferably a specialist. If it is not possible to visit a stationary visit, I encourage you to use teleadvice via, for example, the portal Gdziepolek.pl: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-psychiatra
