Hello. On July 22, the first day of my period, I started using EVRA. Then on July 29, August 5 and wanting to move the period I used the fourth patch on August 12 and I was supposed to peel it off on Saturday August 19 and take a week break, but unfortunately it peeled off in the pool on Friday August 18. I'm without a patch now. I got my period on August 21 and it's August 23. What should I do to be protected?

In this case, you should stick the first patch from the new package on August 18 and start a new 4-week cycle of using the patches on that day. In addition, with the first patch from the new package, use an additional method of contraception in the form of a condom. Since you have not acted in this way, the protection may be reduced. Stick the first patch from the new package as soon as possible, thus starting a new 4-week cycle. If the interval between the patches was 7 days or less, then it is enough to apply additional protection to the first patch. If the interval between the patches was longer than 7 days - then additional protection should be used throughout the 4-week cycle of wearing the patches. Protection will only be provided with the next package.
