Good morning. I HOPE FOR A QUICK REPLY. From this evening I start taking the antibiotic "Taromentin 875 mg + 125mg" the general practitioner, ordered to take it after a meal. But what if I have nausea, I eat little because it's my stomach (which the doctor knows) (I'm in the queue for gastroscopy). Can I take the medicine at 20:00 without eating dinner? Only for example eat the last meal at 16/17/18?. I still take polprazol (from today ( , the doctor ordered 30 minutes before breakfast nadczo. And Multilac Synbiotic (after lunch). According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, it is recommended to take Taromentin before meals. This minimizes intolerance on the part of the digestive system and ensures optimal absorption of the active substances of the drug. Perhaps a change to this dosage will be better tolerated. Taking the medicine in a different way than described in the leaflet or ordered by the doctor may affect the absorption of active substances and the effectiveness of therapy. If the current dosage does not work and you feel side effects of Taromentin, it is worth reporting it to your doctor.
