Sulfasalazine, Metex and Encorton are prescription drugs that can be used together if the prescriber has been informed of all the drugs used. Simultaneous intake of Metex and Encorton is associated with an increased risk of side effects and infections. Occasionally, an increase in the side effects of Metex was also observed when used with Sulfasalazine. You should be aware that during multidrug therapy potential interactions between preparations cannot be avoided. Therefore, if side effects are noticed during treatment, you should report them to your doctor.
