Is two Pyrantelum tablets not too high a dose for an 11-year-old child?
Please help, daughter 11 years old has pinworm, was through diarrhea in the hospital (elevated eosinophils) The doctor ordered to take 2 tablets Pyrantelum for 3 consecutive days and for 3 weeks another ... I know that I do not zn but is it not too high a dose?

The dose of Pyrantelum is selected based on body weight. Two tablets are administered at a time for a body weight of 40-50 kg. I enclose the leaflet of the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/65515/pyrantelum-owix-tabletki/ulotka
