Good morning, what topical remedy can I use for lymphedema of the legs? It's small, but on hot days it gives me more trouble, and besides, I don't want it to increase. I lubricate with Altacet, but somehow I do not see the effects, is this preparation suitable for this type of edema? I have glaucoma, so it must be something safe and it would be good if it was affordable.

It is important to take care of the skin in the affected area - proper hygiene and the use of creams / lotions that support skin regeneration. First of all - it is worth going to a vascular surgeon who will assess the severity of the disease and possibly suggest oral treatment. Some medicines (such as amplodipine, some anti-inflammatory drugs) may increase lymphedema. Postoperative conditions - e.g. after surgery to remove cancerous tumors - can also cause persistent swelling.
